Amine Downsizing Case Study

By Chris Smithson / July 30, 2020 / 0 Comments

Most customers dread having to conduct a full cleanout of a TEG dehydrator. The cleanout sometimes implies shutdowns or drop in capacity. One of the ways CROFT designed the Passive Dehydration System (PDS) is to be utilized as a quick, easy, and a temporary way to bypass a TEG and continue to dehydrate the gas while your TEG is shut down and getting serviced/cleaned out.

Why Dehydrate Natural Gas?

By Chris Smithson / May 12, 2020 / 0 Comments

Raw natural gas must be dehydrated to remove water vapor. Natural gas dehydration will eliminate the formation of hydrates and over-saturation of natural gas. All of these issues can cause corrosion, impacting the longevity of your gas processing equipment, and cause the gas stream to not meet pipeline specifications.
